If any other games wants a template on how not to handle a 4th yr anniversary, FFBE has your blueprint. I love the game but the complete lack of care for its player base seems like they are actively trying to hemorrhage players away from it. The “buy your own anniversary celebration” model is NOT working, and giving out items that were barely usable in the first 2 years of the games life cycle do not count as giveaways nor get players excited.

  • Disappointing

The developers are so incredibly out of touch and almost seem to go out of their way to disappoint you at every turn. This game is months of disappointment with short weeks of apologies and hopefulness that the game will change for the better and then back to more disappointment. Don’t sink time into this game, there are much better final fantasy games
  • Bad game

Gambling simulation, a game that exploits you nostalgic memories of old final fantasy games. Not f2p friendly. Everything is RNG..... everything
  • No loyalty to Veterans

Don’t download, especially if you value your time, money, and sanity.
  • CRappy 4th anniversary!

Greedy company that is completely out of touch with their remaining player base. Used to be a great game, now pretty just a money grab.

I’ve lived and loved this game for over 3 years but this “anniversary” is anything but helpful for veteran players. Covid is an issue, but it should not stop transparency. This game has always had transparency issues from the dev team, but it’s needed more than ever now. They said their anniversary would be spread out across months and gave half-rewards promising to do better. Sadly, during the life of this game we have been “promised” that many times. It’s time to do better.
  • 4th Anniversary is a joke

It’s not hard to make a good 4th Anniversary whole also extending the rewards a few months. People aren't upset that you are spreading out the anniversary, they don't like that the rewards have sucked and there has been no real communication / forecast (except for a warning to watch a livestream or else) so people assume they won't get any better. And based on past events they are not wrong to assume that.
  • Good game BUT

It’s a great game BUT the pull rates are so ridiculous it’s mind blowing. You literally have to pay or do over a hundred pulls to get any good units and even then it’s still an insanely low pull rate for a good character. Out of 12 pulls I got 12 3-stars of which 5 were the same. Need a major overhaul to character pull rate. Update: 5* pull rate is insanely low. I finally pulled a banner character, that was 4 banners ago. Just did 40 pulls and got one 5* character.
