  • Fun but frustrating

    By Bebezee
I loved the game at first, but as I progressed I found that there are levels that are unbeatable. You must either buy coins for extra turns or just slog through and put in the time until you are granted the lucky combo of tiles that drop down. It is mostly based on luck than it is skill, not unlike a slot machine. Also, as you are going through literally days at one level, there are events you are missing out on because you are stuck on the one level. At these points the game is not fun so beware of this before you decide to get the app.
  • Deceptive advertising

    By PZeeR
This game and the similar Gardenscapes are primarily marketed using the mini-games brain teasers, but there are actually very few of these in the game app you actually download. Mini-games are even the first frame in the App Store display even though they are the least available feature in the entire app! Is the actually primary game fun? Yes, fairly (although very challenging and really designed to sell spins and add-ons, not just to be a fun free game). But the way this is advertising is a great example of bait-and-switch, which earns the developer a 1-star rating for deception!
  • Only fun for a minute

    By Happ70
First, the game is not how they advertised it. Second, I understand the levels should get more tricky, however, they should not be impossible. Very disappointed.
  • Rolls kill this game as well as stars.

    By Kingpinhfdukfsrhjcd
When I first started the game I really enjoyed it but as I played and got further along I realized some very annoying things. 1- if you win a couple rounds great but the color rolls will eventually not be in your favor and you will never win unless you use your specials or buy them or you have to wait a couple days. Waiting a couple days resets the algorithm I think. 2. The stars and purchasing updates for the house are fun, except it’s ruined when you’ve been stuck on a level waiting to get a good color roll to find out your star will be consumed because you have to make a phone call or wipe you butt. There is no incentive and it’s another way to just burn currency to keep you locked. It actually pushes me away. When I get a star I want a mansion piece not an action. The whole point imo is the refurbish the mansion not the other noise. 3. There is no strategy. Yea match colors and get this or that but the color roll eventually goes against you and then it feels like gambling. Not the good kind either. It’s like watching an 80 year old lady sitting at a slot with thousands of dollars but she’s not winning and she just keeps pulling the lever until she runs out of cash or In This case lives....the color roll is set up the same way in this game. It’s here to give you a small win but then deliver you significantly more loses. Now if some of those things could be fixed it would be fun but I won’t waste more than 10min a day on it depending on color roll. Fix the color roll dang it.
  • Inconsistent enjoyment

    By Spydernights
I mostly enjoy the game, but there are parts I truly hate. When I’m stuck on a puzzle there is nothing else to do in the game. I just uninstalled the game out of annoyance about a puzzle I tried dozens of times and spent all my coins on. There is little control over the story. I liked rebuilding the house as much as the puzzles, so the artificial roadblocks in repairing the house were frustrating. Don’t get me started on that stupid cat.
  • Fun game but you have to spend money.

    By Rnyberg
The game is super fun but some levels are impossible without spending money. The redecorating of the mansion is enjoyable and the storyline is fun to follow along with. I wish there were a way to only play the mini games. I downloaded the app for the mini games and there are not very many of them. Although it seems to have been improved slightly. But again, some levels are downright impossible. And even though the game is fun, the fact that I have had to spend well over $100+ makes me only give it three stars. There are a ton of opportunities to win prices and power ups. I would say way more opportunities than in other games like it. But I cannot win the great prizes when the levels are impossible. Fix all of the levels that are unbeatable without dropping $$$ and add more mini games and then this game will get five stars from me.
  • Total garbage game

    By Hmcfmfsag
The developers of this game do not care if you can can play this game or if you can even progress in the game. They don’t care that it can take you over four days just to get past one level. And they don’t listen to the suggestions of people playing the game. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time downloading or playing this game. All the game developers want you to do is spend real money to buy boosts and coins that only help less than half of the time so that you might beat a level.
  • Tournaments

    By Asuni_M
TAKE THE TOURNAMENTS AWAY!!! The tournaments that happens whenever two people tie for first in their team is so stupid. It’s a 5 day event and it’s just a wast of time. You make no progress in the game because it literally won’t let you play actual levels and nothing good even comes from it. I mean you can get coins but that’s not worth the 5 days of utter boredom. What do the cups we win even do? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Me and another team mate tie for first all the time and each time we’re stuck not even really being able to play for 5 days. For 5 days this app becomes a waste of space on my phone. Just let us play like normal and pass each other. The more updates this game gets the less fun it is and the closer I get to deleting it
  • Puzzles

    By Huds W.
Don’t be fooled by the app sticker, the puzzles rarely appear. It’s more like candy crush combined with a designing game. It seems impossible to get 2 puzzles in one real life day. It’s still a great game though, it’s just unexpected that the number of puzzles is that low.
  • Great game, but...

    By Wolf blood 1234
I used to be obsessed with this game, until I saw the new ads. I just uninstalled the game because they lied about their content despite it being great on its own. THEN they added a mini game that works poorly just to say they didn’t lie. I’ve lost all respect
