  • App is pretty much useless if your equipment says ifit compatible but only has wifi

my nordictrack elite 5.4 recumbent bike says its ifit compatible, came with a 1-year membership but the app cannot pair with the equipment so that i can use the membership which is the reason i bought the bike which i am now stuck with using the ugly screen workouts it came with instead of the street view through this app as advertised. Please make the app work via wifi somehow instead of just bluetooth
  • Bricked my rower

Downloaded the app today and connected it to my Nordictrack rower. Then after it connected my rower console turned off. Never came back on again. Support is helping me get a new console. An app should not be bricking $1000.00+ machines. Even customer service said they new this issue and I should call iFit before I connect to the app when the new console arrives. Bad move iFit.

I am still getting use to my ProForm Bike - got off this ride and was sweating a good amount. It felt great!! New to biking and felt I handled this well - excited to try different rides with instructors. I loved how the instructor (Kim) pushes you in a positive way.....Great Coach.
  • No free option

In the past, you could use this app to track your workout on proform/nordictrac machines, **for free**. Now there is no free option. So now if you buy Proform equipment, there is literally no way to track your workouts, without paying $15/month to join iFit. That’s absolutely ridiculous. Even my cheap old Schwinn stationary bike had a free workout tracking app. What a joke.
  • Great app

I love the app especially the fact that it controls your treadmill. This, for me, is my accountability. However, I would prefer a better search system based on intensity. It takes me too long to go through all the workouts to find it’s not quite my level. I would also like to see a pause feature if needed instead of having to start the workout all over. Other than that, I feel the app is great! There is a variety of workouts that can be used for strength training or weight loss. There are definitely workouts that I would never have thought of doing on a treadmill. Very happy with my subscription.
  • Lacking an essential function

Workouts are pretty good. Videos look great and everything. However, the lack of a search function makes this app subpar. I saw that new workout class videos had been added and it was something I’d been waiting on. Too bad I can’t find any that would work for me because the only videos it shows me when I browse are for bikes when I have an elliptical and it is shown on my profile that I have no bike. Don’t even bother trying to search on the app on your phone or on a desktop, either. They show different videos, but still no search function so it’s essentially worthless. This service costs too much for there to be such an awful user experience.
  • Love the concept, but this app needs help

Why isn’t there a search option? I hate having to scroll through everything on the app just to find a workout that I should just be able to easily put into a search bar. Also, I have an older Tour de France bike that is connected, but doesn’t have Bluetooth. So I can’t watch these amazing rides I’m going on because there is no Bluetooth connectivity, even though my bike is connected so I’m DOING the rides. I just can’t watch them on any of my devices.
  • Badly designed, buggy mess

Bottom line: if you’re used to well-designed workout and fitness apps that integrate with each other, iFIT Cardio is going to frustrate and disappoint you, especially compared to apps such as RunKeeeper, Strava, Pelaton, MFP, etc. It’s slowly getting better, but avoid for now. 1. The app is just designed badly. For example, reviews are *full* of people asking for a “search” function for workouts, and the app still doesn’t have it years later. So “popular workouts” are shown when you open the app. You choose one, but it will be maybe “workout 6” from a series of 20, and there’s no way of finding the others!!! You know the trainer name, the workout series name, but astonishingly there’s no search option in the workout library. It’s just a slow, clunky list, and you have to scroll and scroll through dozens of weirdly overlapping categories like “international” (full of duplicate indoor workout sessions), “running” (full of random running sessions from different courses), or “Adriatic” (sessions that happen to be in the same area but from different course). For an app whose main purpose is serving up workout sessions from a library, the utter failure of the workout library functionality is breathtaking. This lack of design permeates the entire app. 2. Second, the app is just *buggy*. For example, sometimes I pause a workout, then restart the workout a few minutes later. The stats all continue from where I left off, but the video restarts from the beginning, and the music track names will be wrong from that point forwards. Another example: If my home WiFi gets rebooted halfway through a long run, the app never manages to reconnect. It spins and spins and fails, and a box pops up saying, “Workouts less than a minute long will not be saved.” With an “OK” button. Seriously. 3. Thirdly, amazingly, IFit thinks they own -your- workout data. Want to sync your smart treadmill workouts with MyFitnessPal, Apple, Google Fit, or Strava? Think again. iFIT doesn’t integrate with ANY apps or platforms. Your workout data is locked in their app. Note that iFit is utterly useless at showing your fitness over time, at tracking which series you’ve finished, at helping you plan your fitness program, or for tracking useful stats about your performance. This app is extremely weak considering the high price. You could literally buy two normal apps every month for the price of this half-baked mess. ————

This app not only didn’t work, but caused an error with my treadmill, which now won’t even turn in. BTW, it only has a few miles on it.
  • Useless app

I have the NordicTrack S22i and unfortunately this bike does not have a Bluetooth. I said it’s ok, no big deal because it’s connected to WiFi so it still sync the workouts. On the bike I am able to choose the bike workouts which is awesome. I would be happy if in the app I can choose workouts by category for an easier search and selection. In the app I see ALL the content without being able to categorize. I would love to see an option where I can choose what can I see. In that case it will be much easier to look for my workout in bike category only and add them to my calendar for an easy start when I get on the bike.
