  • Becomes a chore

    By StattManley
I get it, I’m a HUGE Marvel fan, too. Go download AFK instead. Trust me! What initially was a fun way to start/wind down my day, Marvel Strike Force has become a tedious chore and obligation to my alliance mates. Feedback sent to developers not utilized, or even recognized, because the in-game offers have enough sales revenue that they just don’t need to listen. The team at FoxNext absolutely values the experience of the big spenders over those who spend less frequently and in smaller amounts. It’s a great strategy for the short-term, but probably not long-term. Recent character releases and offers with exorbitant price tags are getting out of hand. And without new game modes/content to keep it interesting, new characters alone won’t help with replay value here. For $59, I could either purchase a new release title on PS4/Nintendo Switch, or I could purchase a character offer for some character shard orbs, with intentionally terrible drop rates, to get that ONE character to maybe half of their full potential....... ??????? I’m a massive Marvel fan, and have spent plenty on this game, but the spending just doesn’t have value. And I certainly don’t feel appreciated as a consumer. My alliance mates and I will be uninstalling the app soon because feedback shared via the support link was responded to with a short, canned response and no follow-up. Hoping a potential future player reads this and stays away. The game does look beautiful, when not crashing. So massive props to the graphics team.
  • Laughable customer service.

Don’t waste your time asking these people questions or attempt to get actual help from them. They just closed tickets without any factual information given. They don’t care enough to answer them or just simply do the job they are paid for. Also it’s funny how negative reviews for this game keep getting deleted. Editors choice.... wonder how much they had to pay for that?
  • My goodness...

Just downloaded. Been trying to play for an hour. Glitchiest Marvel game/app I’ve ever had. Tried to make an in-app purchase, and it took me literally almost 10 tries before the app actually let me do it because it kept crashing. More of a issue to have than it is fun to play.
  • Marvelous magnificent magic made by Marvel.

This game has everything to be a five star delight. It had a interesting plot, it was fun, and above all it took marvel to the next level! I don’t know how it isn’t the top game of the decade. This could beat Angry birds!

I think this is an amazingly great game. It's perfect mostly for probably above 16. There's a lot of violence, but more importantly you work with a group of 24. This takes a lot of planning and strategy to progress and upgrade your characters. The one thing that I've found is that there's little to no way to earn gold. Yes you get it from a few places, but the amount of gold you need is astronomical. That is the only drawback from Strike Force. It's become pay to win. For example, they added a new character, Black Bolt, but in order to unlock him you have to pay an exorbitant amount of money to buy the characters to unlock him. You have no way of getting shards anywhere else on the game. The Heimdahl orbs were crap, I spent over 1000 power cores to refresh his event, and opened more than 50 orbs just to get him one extra star to help unlock Black Bolt. The orbs were pathetic. After I got him to 4 stars, the most shards I got in an orb was 4. That's pathetic. And he's just one unattainable character, Sif and Hela are also unfarmable. So the only way to get this new amazing character that can beat anything I already have, is to pay for those characters. So, like I said, the game has become "pay to win". The graphics are amazing, and the overall set up is good. It would be hard to learn exactly which characters are the best to upgrade in the beginning. There is little to no instruction on that. The programmers need to find some way to better test the updates. Every time they do an update the Game glitches. Their compensation packages are crap. They no where near meet the goods lost due to their glitches from updates. At this point I have too much time and money invested to stop playing and find something new. I do enjoy many aspects of the game. War is probably the most exciting to me. It takes a fair amount of strategy within your alliance and attacks need to be well thought out.
  • Would be nice if it would load

    By El_Musiciano
99% of the time.. sorry 42% of the time the game gets stuck loading and doesn’t even work. Fun game but can’t play half the time I want to. Oh well. I’ve got other games that still load just fine. I’ll play those instead
  • Combining items

The game is fun but starts to lag in fun when trying to upgrade characters past lvl 9. Item and character shard drop rates are horrible low for the amount you need. You can spend a couple hundred energy and get zero character shards and maybe 2-3 items. Many times not the ones you need. Need to make a way to combine green lvl items into blue and blues into purples. I have so many greens that they could release a hundred new characters and still couldn’t use them all.
