  • Good game but need to fix game time

    Game is fun but special event time does not make sense. Im from nyc and event time is at 5:30am. Who’s gonna join? Suggested this multiple times but no response from developer. You are loosing a lot of player because of this reason. FIX IT!

    Games that operate differently have different styles to make money. A game can profit monthly with a small amount, grow its user base and gradually accumulate profit, either through a subscription or a small boost for its characters. These games usually have a very long lifespan: if you charge (in some form) a user $10-$100 dollars per month in the beginning, and then gradually increase the price to maybe $200 a month or more. Players will have a hard time quitting because they are invested and have some emotional attachment to the game, or the social features built within. A game can also profit once with a large amount, so that they make enough money and can quit even if it does not plan to run long, through a huge boost to whomever paid the most amount, and make her/him invincible. These games have a short lifespan: usually top players pay thousands or more, but others leave because 1) its easy to quit when you didn't spend any money and have less emotion for the game and 2) you cant compete with top players. Over time top players will also quit because there's no one to compete to. There is nothing wrong with both strategies from a game operator's perspective, but for most of customers, we prefer the 1st. I played the original StoneAge 20 years ago, it started as the 1st kind and gradually changed to the 2nd, and the game closed. I'm playing several games from blizzard now and probably pay about $50-$200 per month per game. I played StoneAge world for about a month, and also paid about $200. So I guess that's my price range for every game I play. So am I willing to pay thousands for this game? Probably not, at least not in the beginning of the game. When you make mecha pets bugged, you lose small customers like me, but could probably win some big customers. This post is basically trying to convince these big customers in advance: your money won't last long. Depending on what you think: if you believe spending $1000-$5000 is worth to enjoy the game for a month or two, go ahead and enjoy, I don't have a problem with that. However, if your plan is to enjoy the game longer with an initial investment, be careful that you may not get that.

  • If you don’t live in Korea or like instructions on how to play

    If you don’t live in Korean time zone or close to it and you don’t work noc shifts (if you luff in the US/America’s), don’t bother paying or playing the game unless you plan to be casual. All the events are korean time so their 6:30pm events to help get tokens and new pets is 2-4am pacific standard time. You’ll get bypassed by all the asia players. Take it from someone who just wasted $15. Not worth you’re time unless you live in their time zone. You’ll never have a chance to enjoy the game to the fullest. Oh that’s right. The instructions and explanations for everything is incredibly poor. I still don’t understand how to gain a vast majority of their point system and it took me around 3 days just to figure out what all the currencies do. I also managed to be awake for some of the limited time events. Zero clue how to play them and they have zero instructions. Also only gives you one chance so when you fail, you just sit there wondering how you even do them in the first place This game has a TON of potential (as in I will definitely be back if they had a Server around my time zone) because once you DO figure out everything, it’s a fun game but the investment to do so is not worth it. But wasted on user friendliness dependent on region and poor instructions with no guides online anywhere. Also I think the friend/whisper system is broken right now. I can’t message my friends and they can’t message me. We can see that we sent a message but we don’t actually see it.

    I’ve been looking for the game tie-in to “Stone Age: The Legendary Pet”, ever since I finished watching it. Thank you for making it available now. I’m going to re-watch the anime based on this game on Netflix because of this.

    Stop posting new events and stuff we cant even do because of the incredible bad timezone "Tektonica time" (lol) and instead focus on fixing the 10000000000000000 bugs and issues the community found and even false advertising in most of the events. Lately you are just posting new events for asian people while we still suffer from all this unacceptable things. Understand something... THIS IS A GLOBAL SERVER YOU LAUNCHED! NOT KOREAN!
  • Good monster capture and battling mmo

    Pros: 1.) Great pet capturing mechanism. Feels satisfying to catch a good pet. Probably best monster catching game on phone than any other right now. 2.) MMO/Social feature is cool. Something about seeing other people running around, battling, and communicating with you is nice. 3.) Pretty deep strategic gameplay which I love. Some extremely overpowered pets though (mammoth...) that I wish would be better balanced. With that said pvp is good—the game has both real time and AI controlled battling (separate features) of other players. 3.) There is a story and a bajillion quests but honestly have no idea what’s going on. So semi-pro? 4.) This game is ridiculously addicting—which I suppose is a good thing, for a game that is. Major Critiques: 1.) autobattle farming feature. I think this feature is bad design - the game needs to be kept on for this (at least I think?) and yet it’s probably expected that you keep this going all day for it to be fruitful. People sometimes leave the game running at night...but man...I feel like that is just bad game design to have to actually keep a game actively running all night (which makes my phone get hot...and I also use it as an alarm clock near my head). Creators should just turn the autobattle farming feature into a mode that can be activated and checked on when you log back on (like other idle games such as afk arena or ulala). 2.) gaining pets through eggs/pet souls (rather than catching normally) is pretty disappointing. Can take a very very long time to get the right egg/enough souls, which after using to get a pet, you end up with a pet which you could have attained in 2 minutes by just catching the normal way. I know the egg/soul method can be used to get super high tier pets of a family, but...the risk/reward is so low. No one I know actually uses eggs/souls to get pets—just sell or use to upgrade. Perhaps worth it for super end game...but ya the risk/reward not really worth it IMO. 3.) the experience transfer feature doesn’t make sense. If you get a better pet, you can transfer experience of old pet onto new one for a modest fee. What makes this feature pointless though is that experience itself is very easy to gain. What is more difficult is progress are stat growth upgrades, which you can’t transfer. Wish you could pay some fee to transfer, say, even 1/2 of old pets growth increases. That being said, you do that to transfer research points (a different upgrade mechanic)... but the game doesn’t actually tell you that you lose half your upgrade points when you do this...(please make that clear devs!!!). Generally speaking, it just takes weeks to build 1 pet up to become useful...wish that process could be made easier especially if you are just replacing one pet for a better version. 4.) global release is catered toward non-American zones. To do the limited time events, you need to log in around 4-7am (depending on where you are in the United States). For me this hurts the most because I love pvp. PvP is what keeps me going. Yet real time pvp is only really done during these specific hours. 5.) subquest rewards are monotonous and underwhelming. You mostly just get anegligible amount of exp and cash for completing sub quests. Wish they increased the amount and changed it up a bit - how about some pet growth stones? 6.) unbalanced pets - because I love pvp, I hate when some pets are stupidly overpowered. Every single team composition includes the mammoth which is effectively an impenetrable tank, has a team wide super damaging attack (just as strong as most other single target units), a full health heal— oh yea and it’s team wide attack also makes the enemy units taunted (which effectively means you can’t control them to use skills anymore...). Also stupidly overpowered is the heal fox which, if attacked (because of an ai battle (trap capture) or an aoe attack) can confuse the enemy unit for...8 turns (out of 20 max). Yes 8 turns...every other status effect goes for 1-3 turns. Or yangidon which can 1 hit most normal-health pets. Additionally, much of the skill growth scaling/effects on other pets need to be enhanced as well. After weeks of playing, I thought the dev team would have addressed some of these issues to make the game more diverse/fair/fun. Nope. Pvp is not fun anymore Verdict: Decent phone game. If you like monster catching/battling games (especially on phone), you should try this. The game is actually a lot better than it looks in my opinion. 8/10 for phone game. At the same time, I have yet to see the dev team do anything to address any of its major (yet I believe easily changeable) problems like balancing, quest rewards, time zone issue...which raises major red flags to me. (With the exception of increasing stamina per day which allows you to do a bit more). Most likely the game is going to die though since most players seem to have already given up on the dev team in light of these issues - which would kind of undermine the mmo part of the game. 5/10 for a game in general (in light of other games on console/pc) Anyways, the game had great potential but most likely is going to fail at in areas associated with American time zones unless the dev team is willing to fix many of these issues (or at least be transparent/start working on these issues). I’m personally quitting now.
