Having played this game almost daily for more than a year I’ve seen it progress and grow. There are missions and ships and officers to progress through and add to your arsenal, but there is also great gameplay too. The latest Borg arc takes place over 3 months and builds from each month prior. The community managers are listening to player feedback and developing a better product. If you played at the beginning and left, come back and try it again. If you’ve never played before come in and give it a go. It’s a great time to be in the game.

I have been a Trekkie for many years and like strategy games. This is an awesome combination and keeps me coming back.
  • Pay to win

    By RShadow231
The usual pay to win routine. Pay a few k$ to be unstoppable in the game. Whales pay for everyone to play, but have so much power that no one else wants to. New content story lines are tied to locations and whales camp them out to make sure no one can start them. Same situation for locations or armadas that you pay money to start or go to. They will destroy you as soon as you arrive. So pay again to try again later. Complete waste of cash. Took the devs until 3/2020 just to fix basic math in the game for resource cost on repairs that take hours. Paywall for advancing officers, acquiring ship blueprints. You can get one Ship free if you are able to complete all daily tasks for one year.

Fun, Addictive, Can be expensive. That’s really all you need to know. Enjoy.
  • Love it, but it doesn’t love me

I LOVE THIS GAME! I think the battles are fun. I like the alliance interaction. I love the missions and the daily goals. Unfortunately there always seems to be some new glitch. For a while there were missions I couldn’t complete due to whole systems being empty. Since that was repaired, things have been better till now. Finally got to a place where I can work on the borg missions and wham! Now the app shuts down after 10 seconds every time. I’ve made sure every thing was updated and even tried on my tablet. Same result. Very sad.

You convinced me not to download this game.
  • Poor customer service. Very expensive

You really have to spend thousands of dollars and at least 6 hours a day to get anger in this game. As you level up.. the requirements get more and more. Played for over a year and got tired of the grind. $100 for standard in game purchases?? Ambiguous policies? 4-6 hours to finish daily goals? No way! You either spend a ton of time or a ton of money. Zero fun. It’s like a job all while you get bulldozed by heavy spenders that are bored and just want to harass everyone for no reason. Customer service is the absolute worst. Game is constantly super buggy and barely playable at times. Not recommended at all. The only thing keeping this alive is the player community.

The basics are good (story lines, graphics) but it is buggy as hell. Crashes frequently, odd random glitches (locked in combat, invisible enemies, locked mines). Also, the game is very hard to play for free, Scopely sets up all the new content to require purchases to fully complete. And the packets are grossly overpriced.
  • Too Many Game Crahses

    By Scuba14593
I wanted to like this game. In the beginning I did enjoy it, building my star base and going on missions. However, the game crashes multiple times per hour, has an incredible lag time and sometimes stops all together. Instead of spending time to wait for it to reload I am deleting it and waiting for a future when the game is more stable.
