As I watch it on my Firestick, it keeps shutting off mid program. This is not conducive to a pleasant night of viewership. I bought a year’s subscription to this nightmare that I can now only watch on my laptop.

I was so excited to get this app as I love the British mystery genre. I signed up and the first video I watched was so grainy that it was impossible to watch. Just terrible quality. We tried different shows and every one had the same problem. I canceled my subscription immediately. I have a new 4K TV so obviously it’s Acorn. Save your money and forget this app.
  • A shame

By no expoting makes it a bad app
I love bbc shows. This app was probably outsourced to Pakistan or India. It’s slow makes no sense and doesn’t support picture in picture. Even on an iPad. They could upgrade it but I’ve seen no updates. I guess after 4 months of being a paying customer I’ll drop it,. Lol it’s the same company that made BritBox. Awful support and design

I cancelled my subscription in my Apple ID manage subscriptions and they’re still charging me and won’t return my email on how to properly cancel. If I could give it zero stars I would!

With continue watching? I pay monthly for this service and yes I watch more than hour at a time. I shouldn’t have to verify every hour.
  • Nothing happens

Hit play on any given video the app sort of flickers and nothing happens. Cast to nearby device use unresponsive. Altogether a dud app. This may have an impact on whether I keep the subscription.

I am a paid up yearly subscriber via Apple. I have been blocked access to my account when I went to change my password. I can’t get into the site to change it! I have talked to Apple and they told me that I need to go through Acorn Customer device for any problems. In the meantime I have a paid up subscription through October 5, 2020 and no service. I will not be resubscribing you are thieves!
