  • Do NoT Waste Your Money

This app does not work with iOS 13. It does not track the time used. My child can get to safari in lockdown mode and from there she goes to YouTube. I can not track her location. Because I purchased the lifetime option based on the reviews I am being told be Kidslox the can’t refund me it’s up to iTunes who of course also refused to refund my purchase. I got a green app on my phone for $100 and it’s useless.
  • Like the app but it is missing some features I would like to have

    By estreya1111
I like the app but I believe it is missing some key features I really wish it had. I wish you could set chores/tasks. I wish the gps was live. Like it updates every few minutes but not a live feed. Not a big deal but wish it had it. Wish I could monitor his messages and calls.

  • Misleading Description, COSTS MONEY

    By Kimber112
I got this bc it said I can use it to put my phone in a kid mode where my niece can only use and see what I allow, that way I won’t have to worry about her calling 911 accidentally or getting into other things when I let her use my phone to browse YouTube and watch videos. I find out that I can’t create different modes(aka profiles) I’m only able to adjust her non existent cell phone thru mine! Thanks for the false advertisement and taking my money all bc the person who wrote the description felt like implying one thing to lure ppl in (like me) to take their money for something that won’t work AT ALL! I suggest REWRITING the description so it’s clear that these modes can only be created on the kids device/tablet. Thank god I didn’t waste more then $4, like buying overpriced gasoline at $3.50-$4/gal....
  • No longer for me.

    By WesWl
This app was great for a time and allowed me to monitor my kids screen time. Now however, with recent IOS updates and Kidslox updates it no longer works on my kids iPads. There customer service tried hard but was unable to resolve my issue and I will no longer be using Kidslox.

  • No support

    By Kareeokie
My kid deleted the app and it was next to impossible to figure out how to repair it because it was working in the background and shut down his iPad. We couldn’t get WiFi to work at all so we couldn’t reinstall the app from the App Store. At first I thought it was because my free trial had expired so I upgraded to premium. That didn’t work. So I tried to call their tech support but they had no support person available to take a call. I finally figured it out in my own and went back to delete my subscription to their premium plan and I noticed that they have a $3.99 cent plan but that wasn’t an option when I upgraded through the app. The only choice for a monthly charge was $5.99 a month. So I think the app is a scam.
  • Gets better over time

It’s great to see a developer continue to improve their product over time. Kids lox is continually updating, and their advanced features offer exactly the device management we need to support our family and give kids the freedom to have a device like an iPhone.
  • Not good

By Bugs that need to be fixed
This app kept rearranging my apps all over my home screen. And I’m constantly timing out for no reason. The company needs to fix bugs that more my apps and take away the time limit thing. What it should be is your apps time in in the morning and time out at night not a limited amount.
  • Favorite Parental Control App

    By ANM3575
This is my most favorite of all parental control for my kids electronic devices. From my phone I can see anything they download, enable safe browsing, not allow in app purchases, set daily limits for screen time, and set a curfew for devices in the evening. Also whenever they forget a chore or need to do their homework or need to engage in face to face time I simply “lockdown“ their device with a simple button swipe. They know I have complete control over when and how long they can use their device. And this goes for the 14 year old’s iPhone too. He doesn’t like it but its non negotiable if he wants a phone. His friends beg me not to tell their parents about it. Hahaha I’m like the Jedi Master of their devices. It’s awesome! #AbsolutePower #Outsmarted
