  • Completely useless.

The app for iPad works great, but the Mac app does not work at all. Try the website itself or just use the iPad app. No controls appear in the app, after I've logged in and menu bars are minimal and useless.
  • bad UI

Won’t let you even login if you have third party login credentials…for the other ‘1 click login’ option, the mac app takes you to but expects a code you never received in the mac/desktop app. Terrible design. Fire whomever came up with it.
  • broken app

This app is useless now that lynda is transformed into Linkedin Learning.
  • last update was a year ago. Go figure!!

forget about it. the app is useless now
  • This was a great app…but no organizion log in on macOS

This app was very useful for Lynda users on the mac. Not only could I focus my learning, saving my resources from being used up by Safari was nice. But it looks like if you are using macOS, then there will be no support for and Organization Log in, unless you are using the paid pro account. I was certain I could do this before, but for some reason, the have decided not to fix the problem…see this repsonse from tech support below... "After careful assessment, we've decided that we won't be moving forward with a fix at this time. LinkedIn continuously evaluates how features and products are used and we make adjustments accordingly to focus our resources on providing the most value to our members. Due to your login flow, you will be able to view content offline using either the iOS/Android mobile app, or the Windows 8.1 Desktop app as these have options to sign in with an organization portal.” Not sure if Windows in playing hardball with  on this since they own Linkedin, which bought out Regardless, all we can do is hope and wait that they change thier mind on this. Untll then I’ll say it’s WAS a great app on macOS, but now, I can’t get much use out of it. So for now, two stars until they bring back Organization log in’s for mac users. If they can allow it for Windows desktop users, then it seems it would be easy enough to do this for macOS users. Until then, don’t bother downloading unless you are a paid pro user. Cheers!
  • LinkedIn broke Lynda's app

Seems a bit intentional but organizational log in is broken on the Mac. The code generator spits out non-working codes no matter how many times you try. I suspect they want to force people to watch via the browser to monitor user activity via javascripts.
  • Terrible

If you have an account through your school , you can't log in, cuz the section doesn't exist. Fix it and I'll change my Review

  • No Organization Login

    By Dish sieve
There is no option to log in with an organization, and the 1-click login does not work. It redirects me to a page asking for a code, but I haven't even been given one on the app. This really needs fixing, as I can't even log into the application to further use it.
